Floristry was an idea that started when I was a teenager but my dreams of pursuing this were dashed when I realised how early I would have to wake up every day (3:30am!!) so the idea was put on the backburner for a few years.
I went on to study social work at university and after completing that degree an opportunity arose for me to work part time. What did I do for those other two days? Well, thats when my floristry dream became a reality.
I went to study floristry at TAFE with a good friend and then went on to work at the most beautiful florist, Inbud, at Cronulla. During my time there, I picked up extra skillls from the wonderful team of girls I was working with. Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to InBud and pack up shop.
Since then, I've been creating floral delights for weddings and events and florry, based in the Sutherland Shire, has really bloomed. I love meeting all the florry cutomers, planning and creating their floral dreams. It's hard work and I always try and give my absolute best. Here is what makes it all worthwhile:
"Thank you sooooooo much for the amazing flowers. I cannot tell you how many people commented on them and said how gorgeous they were. There were none left at the reception as everyone wanted to take them home! x" - - Jacky
"You are amazing! Your work was better than I had envisioned! Everyone adored your flowers. Thank you so much. Your gift has made one bride truly happy! Thanks for all the hard work" -- Kelly
